New Sony Cybershot DSCHX5V and DSCTX7 @ CES 2010

Sony took the wraps off two new Cybershot digitial cameras at CES 2010 that are the world’s first compact digital still cameras to include full HD 1920X1080 60i Advanced Video Codec High Definition AVCHD video capability. They are also the worlds smallest and thinest AVCHD capable cameras. These are the first Cybershot cameras with High Dynamic Range (HDR) for managing diificult lighting. With Sony’s Exmor R CMOS sensor technology, these cameras provide excellent low light performance, 10fps burst shooting and the new Intelligent Sweep Panorama feature.

Casio Digicam Shoots 1000 Frames Per Second
At CES this year, Casio showed off one of its latest digital cameras, the Exilim EX-F100. This compact camera features a 30-shot burst mode and is capable of shooting video at 1000 frames per second.
