New Camera! Canon 550d Test #2 (2010)

For Shitbags, over time, I’ve purchased an array of cameras, all helping make our movies what they are today. But recently (For £730 to be precise), I purchased the Canon EOS 550d. As some of you might know, its become renowned for not only its photo quality, but its movie capture, which gives a cinematic look and feel to it (If played about with enough that is). Enjoy productions soon in this brilliant quality! This video gives an idea of what the Interviews might look a little like.

Canon EOS Cameras 2010 AdCamera & Accessories – Canon EOS T1i 500D Kiss X3 Digital SLR
Camera and accessories included in the full package kit of a recently purchased 15 megapixels Canon EOS 500D / Rebel T1i (USA) / Kiss X3 (Japan) Digital SLR camera.
One caveat to the kit is the lack of a complimentary memory card. My advice is to separately purchase an SD or SDHC memory card(s) as well as a spare battery to get you started. The battery is the same LP-E5 type used by the Canon EOS 450D / Rebel XSi (USA) / Kiss X2 (Japan). Optional accessories are: Battery grip (same used by the 450D / XSi / Kiss X2), Remote Shutter Trigger, UV lens filter, polarizer lens filter, and a decent cone, crown, or petal-shaped lens hood for the kit lens.
I rarely use the kit lens. (At the time of my purchase, the store only had the kit package and not the camera body by itself.) Instead, I switch between a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Mark II prime lens, or an older Canon EF 35-70mm lens but at a 1.6x crop factor due to the APS-C size CMOS sensor utilized by the 500D camera unit.
I hope all this information will be useful to consumers interested in purchasing the Canon EOS 500D / Rebel T1i (USA) / Kiss X3 (Japan) Digital SLR camera.

Canon EOS 7D – Hands-on Review
Brought to you by digitalrev.com, the first unboxing and hands-on review video of Canon EOS 7D – the latest pro level DSLR from Canon and probably the best camera of the year.
We thought it would be fun to test out the weather sealing of the camera, so we gave it a nice shower. As you’d expected the 7D came out of the shower without any sign of damage or malfunction. (Warning: don’t try this at home as your camera is not warranted to water damage.)
This water tested 7D will later be displayed at our flagship retail store in Hong Kong for you to play with.
